I have 3 contracts, same use year different, resorts. I know at 7 months all my points can be combined for one reservation but how does MS apply the points if I am not using all the points.

You tell them which contracts to use first. They typically will take banked/borrowed points first then dig into current UY points. You can even ignore current UY points from one contract and borrow from another to complete the reservation. It's the same online.

If you're worried and don't want to use a particular contract you can always book something else with that contract (11 month window) and then book the 7 month trip.

Book online and you can pick which contracts to use, plus you can book an hour earlier than MS.

MS can also reallocate points on existing reservations. So for example if a mistake is made or you cancel a reservation you can then ask to reallocate points on another reservation in order to use all banked and borrowed points before current UY points in order to bank them.
A few notable points:
- you cannot reallocate not-home-resort points if you used the home resort booking window (example: you book at 11 months using BCV points, then you transfer SSR points in; at 7 months you cannot reallocate SSR points to the reservation)
- if you bank/borrow points to make a reservation you cannot "unbank/unborrow" them.
