Booking at 7 months out

I’ve never booked at 7 months before and quite frankly been stalking and I don’t think it will be available. But say I want a three night stay and the first night is not available but the best to two are at my 7 month . Can I waitlisted the first night and book the next two nights? (And just book elsewhere they first night as backup ..thanks )

If the first night isn't available, you cannot book the last two nights. You have to wait until the next day to book the 2nd night (when the 7 month window opens for that second night).

You could waitlist the entire stay if the first night isn't available and adjust it later if you are able to book the last nights when the window opens.

You can waitlist the first night at 7 months, but you'll have to wait another day to book the next night.

So I’m better to wait then until the entire stay can be booked day by day ?
I would just hate to have the waitlist come through on the middle day only ? And if it does am I i ok located to stay the one middle night out of the three ?

When booking exactly at 7 months, the first day must be available. However, if you are past the 7 month window for the first, but second day is available, then you can book,

Since you mention March, you can book what you see and waitlist the other night since you are already within 7 months.

Book something for your dates and then modify if you get the chance. I have not had luck with waitlisting but great luck with stalking. People double book all the time and cancellations do happen. Be ready to pounce!
