I'm relatively new to DVC and will be booking at the 7 month window for the first time in a few days. My question is; if I have a few different resorts that I'm interested in, do I give the member services representative all of them when I call and they check them simultaneously OR do I have to give them each resort one by one in some sort of pecking order and they look at the availability of each one, one at a time? Thanks for your help.

I've always had a list in mind of order of preference, and when one is available I take it. You actually could lose something that you want to go back to if you don't grab it when it comes up.

I always ask them to check availability at our first choice first THEN I move on to Plan B / C if Plan A doesn't work out. Then I may waitlist my first choice if we really want Plan A. That's what we did for our August trip. BCV was 1st choice, BWV 2nd choice. One day of our week was initially not available at BCV so I went ahead & booked BWV & waitlisted BCV. Our waitlist came thru tho within a day or two so we ended up with BCV.:thumbsup2
