Okay I'm a newbie with a million questions...:goodvibes
Be kind...:flower3:
We just bought AKV points and are very excited.

Is the 11 month window- 11 months from the first day you want to book?
So Booking for a Dec 20th-27th trip could be done on Jan 20th ?

Is there much difference between a dedicated 2 bedroom at Kidani and a lock off?
I know what the difference is suppose to be but the model just looks like a one bedroom with a connecting studio?

Do you think a dedicated two bedroom would have a bigger dining room table?
Shouldn't it be big enough for 8 or 9 people?

I'm sure I will have more questions later...:rotfl:
TIA
Suzanne

Yes exactly!

This is a lock-off two bedroom

The biggest difference is that the second bedroom in a dedicated will not have the kitchenette since it is a dedicated bedroom whereas the lock-off bedroom can also serve as studio, thus the need for a kitchenette.

At some resorts there are two versions of dedicated two bedrooms, the first having two queen beds and the second having a queen bed and a pullout sofa. The two queen variant is the most common. I also believe all the AKL dedicated two bedrooms are the two queen bed variety.

And to the best of my knowledge all lock-off two bedrooms have one queen bed and one pullout sofa.

I'm sure I will have more questions later...:rotfl:

WELCOME HOME!!!

The dedicated will NOT have a bigger table, but there might be extra room in the second bedroom where the exterior door might be in a lock off. It's hard to know until anyone has actually stayed there. At OKW the second bedroom of a dedicated has a huge extra closet, and it also does not show on the floor plans.

A 1 or 2 bdrm villa at OKW has a full size dining table plus a breakfast bar that could probably handle everyone. Of course a Grand Villa has a dining room and a table for all 12 occupants.
