Booking AP Rates

Hi everyone --

I have a question about reserving/checking in with an AP. Do you have to have an activated AP to book a room? At check-in? Is the voucher they give you when you buy an AP at the Disney Store enough to use at check-in?

We were able to check in with just the voucher at AKL in November. I believe the rule is that it should be the actual pass, but I think most here would tell you that they accept the voucher at check in.

You do not have to have anything to book the room. Just tell them that you're looking for an AP rate. I didn't purchase mine until a month before I left.
