Booking AKV Value?

Just wondering how difficult it is to secure a 2BR Value Villa at AKL Jambo House. We are looking to stay at end of June 2011 & my 11 month date is approaching.

In order to maximize our remaining points, we need the value category. Is this something I need to call exactly on my 11 month date at MS opening? I'd prefer to call later in the day because I work overnight on the night before, but I necessary I'll make it happen. Thoughts?

I've been able to get a value studio even within the 7 month period, but there are more studios than 2 bedrooms. If I were going to be deeply disappointed if one weren't available, I would call the first chance I could. I hope you get what you want!

I've always had to try for a AKL Value studio at 7 months. All except once, I've been succesful. Once I had to waitlist, but it came through in just a few days.

I just called at the 7 month mark for AKV value studio for Feb and got it at 9 in the morning. I was looking to save points, since this was an unexpected trip. I'm not sure if I will be happy to get the parking lot view, but I hate to have to use too many points, so I guess I will stay with the value.

I somehow pulled off booking an AKV Value studio room at the end of June for the last week in September of this year. I was happy to save the points, but I was in SHOCK they even had it. I asked about standard view and the CM told me we also have it in value. I was like GIMMIE LOLOL. So it is possible, but as others have said there is a limited amount of 2 bdrms available so I would definitely be on the phone as early as you can get on it. Good Luck!!

I called exactly 11 months out at 9 am for Easter 2011 and had no problem booking the 2 bedroom value. However, since there is limited number of units available, I wouldn't wait too long to call either!

I'm planning on calling at 11 months for next July for a 2-bedroom value.

I have been trying to decide if I want a 1-bedroom at Kidani or the 2-bedroom value. We have three kids coming... 8, 4 and 5...
The idea of having a room for the kids to sleep in and still have a living room sounds nice.
I just wasn't sure if the rooms would feel really small.

I couldn't believe the value 2-bedroom is only 15 more points TOTAL than the standard 1-bedroom for the whole week.

I called about 8-month out last year for April and I was able to get a Value 1-bedroom.

I was calling about a Value studio, not a 2 br, but just found out that 3 weeks in May were wide open for my reservation. The MS rep felt people were not booking as early for next year, but that's just one opinion.

Any way and for your reservation.

We'll be there between May 8 and 14 2011.

I wanted a value studio also for next June. I was not able to get my first 2 days - June 8 and 9. I did miss the 11th month mark by about a 2 weeks so now I am deciding if we should arrive later or move rooms 3 times. I have to wait until November to book the rest of my trip since I used all my AKV points on the 10-13. We had already planned on moving to a one bedroom on the 15th when DH joins us.
