We are heading to WDW APril 2010 and are looking at leaving out of Buffalo to save money...everyone is saying to use southwest airlines but their flights are only up to March right now....is it worth it to wait?? when can I book for APril...
thanks

Yes - it's worth the wait!! They don't charge for up to two suitcases per person - we had to pay an extra $60 for 4 suitcases on a return flight last month with Airtran - won't do that again!
Sign up for the Southwest Ding (just use a Buffalo zip code 14225) then you'll be notified when their dates are extended and any deals for Buffalo to Orlando. I did this a couple of months ago for our December flight and was able to get $64 one way non-stop when they were released.:woohoo: And no extra for luggage!:thumbsup2

We went down in September flying out of Buffalo. We flew Southwest because we liked their flight times much better than the others. As the previous poster mentioned they also included two pieces of checked luggage for each person at no additional charge. This can add up very quickly on some of the other airlines.

We compared prices before booking and found that the prices were the same for the most part between Southwest, AirTran and Jet Blue that is of course excluding the luggage factor.

We ended up paying $56 for the flight down and $64 for the flight back. Definately a great deal!

Don't forget Jetblue too!!!! They have great TV programming available..very comfy, roomy seats and best of all, you can check in at your Disney Resort and not see your bags until you arrive in Buffalo!

Southwest will release their flights on tuesday for dates after March 10th
