Booking airfare through Disney

Has anyone booked airfare with a Disney package through the Walt Disney Travel Company? Have you had any problems and would you do it again?

I haven't done it personally but over the years on the DIS I have heard complaints. Unless it is the current AirTran deal I think I would make sure that I booked my air on my own. Usualyl air through Disney travel is way more then you would pay booking it yourself.

I booked a package thru disney once. That was enough. They and delta changed my flights 3 times. There were 5 of us. At the end they had 3 on one flight and 2 on another. OK but I started out with Non stop. At the end we were leaving Bos then Chicago then Atlanta then MCO. OK now that was 3 of us DH DS5 and myself. They had DD's 15 at the time Bos -- Wash-- Atlanta ( meet up point) then MCO.
Got that straightened out thanx to Delta not Disney. Now I get to the hotel. have DH, DS5 and me in one room and DD's 16 in another bldg at CBR. LOL like they or I would want 2 16 year old girls alone at WDW, with no supervision. We ended up at the Contemporary in a Garden room. It was great. Yes it did cost more $$.

Now I plan my own flights as when the first issues happened Disney said I would have to resolve with Delta on my own. Why pay them to do it myself.
