I want to get my infant a seat, but she does not have a name yet-how do I do this when booking online? We are traveling a few months Fter she is due, but airfare is good now, so I want to book.

My GUESS... you can book under any name (although you might want to make it androgynous)... there's no ID required for travelers under 18. So no one would know that 'Andy' is actually sitting in 'Sam's' seat.

Do not book the seat as suggested above, especially if you are flying internationally. Airlines have procedures to deal with this; call your airline and ask what you should do.

call the airline. I believe they would book it as something like baby last name and then allow you to change it later.

That's how we have done it in the past. We booked it with baby as the first name and our last name. Then, changed it after the birth.
