Booking ADRs without a reservation

Hi everyone,

I have been reading disboards for a while now (all the information has been great in assisting me to plan our trip to the USA and Disneyworld) but this is my first post.

I have question and I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere and was hoping someone might be able to reply with a solution.

We will be at DisneyWorld 18-22 Jan, 2012 and are interested in booking several ADRs for each day we are there. I understand that you are able to book these online without a room reservation, but without a room reservation you don't get the +10 to book all the ADRs at once. I would like to be able to book them all at once however day 180 for us is 22 July, 2011 (according to the PS calculator) and from what I have been reading they will not release 2012 prices/ability to book online until August 2011. I read one post which said you can call and make a room only booking, however I am in Australia and I need to be able to book the room online.

Does anyone know what I am able to to in this situation?

Hello and welcome!!

Yes you are correct that you need a reservation to obtain +10days worth of ADRS, but if you don't have a ressie you can still make ADRs, just 1 day at a time.

Now with you being from out of the states, I don't know the whole rules for you, but I am sure that someone does. And will be posting soon.

Use the online system and it will cost you nothing. Without a Disney resort reservation, however, there is no way to book 180 + 10 reservations. You will need to log on every day that is 180 days away from the dates you want to dine if you want reservations at 180 days. I would suggest doing that only for the most popular restaurants you want to book. You should be able to get any of the others for January just past 180 days when you can book them all at once. You also don't mention how large a party you have, but if you have more than 14 people you'd have to call.

I just tried to book an online room reservation for January 2012 and it won't let me. Of course I am not overseas. However, I believe at this time there is no way to do it except by phone.

If you intend to be on a dining plan, you will also have to pay in full for CRT or any dinner shows you want to book, and then have them refunded when you arrive at CRT or when you pick up your dinner show tickets.
