Booking ADRs is like a full time job...

Seriously, my trip starts in 3 days and I feel like it's consuming my life! I just need two more ADRs for our 14 day trip and I'm done. It's not like I'm asking for LeCellier... just Kona Cafe and Coral Reef... they are booked SOLID the days I want and I have no choice but to call 10x a day hoping for a cancellation. I can't wait until I get back so I can get on with my life LOL!

PS- Oh and I need Kona on 9/5 for dinner and Coral Reef on 9/15 for dinner - all for a party of 4 - if you have an ADR you are going to cancel, pretty-please PM me!

Last March, DH & I did a trip without one single ADR It was absolutely marvelous and we ate a sit down dinner each and every night. We're going to try it again this November (Jersey week), we've made only 1 adr on the day of my sons birthday..I stopped allowing ADR's to dictate my vacation.

I just gave up trying and took what was available...since I'm going during free dining, and did I mention the food is FREE...even not so great free food is ok in my book! I tried and tried to get Le Cellier to no avail...I ended up with a few sort of different places I might not have otherwise tried, and I bet it'll be great!

That aint no joke, I am sitting here trying to pick new places to eat but all the menus that I am looking at seem to serve the exact same foods not...a shrimp pasta dish, a chicken dish, NY strip, a veggie dish and a salmon dish!

This is why you book EARLY!!!! Been done for months, no worries!!

I'm going in 3 weeks, and Have been trying for months to change, tweak our ADR's - never have had this problem before - usually at 45 or 30 days out, more times open up - not this year!

ADR's are another reason to use a good Disney travel agent. Let them have the hassle of making your resevations!

So true. I find myself looking over our ADR's everyday thinking do we want this one should we try this one. It also doesn't help that my cousin decided to change up our plans 3 weeks before we leave. Seeing I had everything booked back in June! I feel as if I'm playing phone tag everyday trying to book the last few we want. However I have to pick certain times to call becasue it's a surprise for DD and it wouldn't be right if she hear Mommy booking a table at CM for next week! Then you sit there and wonder would this be the time I could have gotten something. Yes it is an obsession.
