Booking ADRs for a large group

I have never booked ADRs with a large group before (13 total - 8 adults, 2 kids, 3 under 3). There are several of us that will be trying at the same time to get ADRs onlin.

Before we try to book the ADRs, does every adult need to have a "My Disney Experience" account set up? Do all the accounts have to be linked? What about the kids? I'd like us to have everything set up so we can secure the reservations as quickly as possible.
