Booking AAA package - need advice

I already have a reservation through Disney with a AAA discount this December, I've been trying to get the new discount applied, but so far have had no luck. I decided today I was just going to book a package through AAA since I want to get the dining plan. I visited my local AAA office today and spoke to a TA. She called Disney and got a price with the AAA discount at POFQ which is what I wanted, she put the person on hold and asked if I wanted it. I told her to see if she could hold it for me until tomorrow and she got back on the phone to see if she and Disney said okay, but then when she tried to do that the rate was gone and no more AAA rates were available at that hotel. So, I asked since I already had a room with a AAA rate, could she just transfer it over for me. She told me what I would need to do is send a fax to Disney asking them to release my room to the TA and then she would call right away and snag the room with the rate to turn it in to a package for me. Now this makes me really nervous, because if I lose the AAA rate there won't be any other discounts available for this hotel. Has anyone else had this experience? Anyone have any advice as to what I should do? Help!! This whole thing is stressing me out enough, I just want to book this and have it done so I can move onto the next thing.

I was told by CM in Disney Res that no other discount can be applied if you are booked under AAA or another discounted rate. But the new code that just came out gave me almost exactly the same rate as the AAA rate I was originally quoted for my trip (11/29 - 12/6) and we are on the MYW + Dining.
