Booking a trip greater than 7 days

Has anyone booked a trip under the current booking rules that is greater than 7 days? Let's say that I want to book a 10 night trip.

On the 11 month mark from day 1, I can book the first 6 nights. That much I understand.

But when can I book night 7? 11 months from night 7? Or 11 months from night 2 since it would be at the end of the 7 day window?

You can book seven nights (not just six) by calling 11 months before date of arrival. To add extra nights, one option is to just keep calling thereafter day by day to add each extra night. Example: Dec 2 to Dec 12 trip. Call Jan 2 and book Dec 2 to 9 (night of 8th), call Jan 3 to book night of Dec 9, call Jan 4 to book night of Dec 10, etc.

At 11 months, save yourself (and MS) some time and just wait until you can book the entire stay with one call. If its a 10 day trip then call 3 days after your trip start date and you'll be all set.

If this wasn't for a December reservation, I would agree. Unfortunately, last January, I waited until the 11 months from the end of my stay and actually got waitlisted for one of the nights in the middle.
