Anyone had success booking a tour at the last minute? DH and I are considering doing the Wild Africa Trek. It's quite expensive and you have to cancel so many days ahead to be eligible for a refund.
I know there are frequent quick rain showers in Florida and I can deal with that but I don't really want to tour in a torrential downpour. The person in reservations says the tour is rain or shine; only cancels for lightening.
I was considering waiting until we actually arrive in Florida and looking at the forecast before I book. Anyone have luck booking at the last minute? I know this tour only takes 12 people per group, but there are several offered throughout the morning/afternoon.
