So my two friends are treating me to a holiday to DLP in July and I'd really like to do something special while we are there to say thank you - any suggestions? X

What sort of price are you thinking of ?
Starting with most expensive:
Buffalo Bill show
Excursion into Paris
Character meal there's a few to choose from
Meal at one of the other restaurants, Walts when the parade is on, Blue Lagoon or the new Bistro Chez Remy.
Cocktails at the different hotel bars (posh pub crawl)
Glowtinis always get a wow reaction
Surprise them with Light Ears for Dreams show, you can get them beforehand personalised at the disney store.

If you're staying onsite, you can pay for special goodies in the room on arrival, but again thats quite expensive.

Hope that gives you some ideas :)

There's quite a lot of 'extra' stuff so I'll just list the things I've thought of/done as an extra treat at DLP
- guided tour of the park, (think this costs about €15 and is an hour long tour of the history of DLP)
- a nice dinner at Walts/Blue Lagoon/Inventions
- buffalo bills Wild West dinner show
- you can pay to have surprises in the room but this is expensive

Can't think of anything else at the moment! Not long until July - how nice of your friends to treat you!

What great friends you have!!! I would treat them to a character meal at cafe mickey or inventions or cocktails in the Disneyland Hotel if you can afford those or if you wanted something special that doesn't cost too much how about a christmas tree ornament presented to them at end of trip....maybe their fav character or small piece of the blown glass they sell in shops?

Have a great trip X

Thank you all for your suggestions - I really like the sound of the ears or the Christmas tree drew! I was thinking buffalo bill's too but they have booked meals for all our nights there already! Although exoensive, what kind of things can you get put in to the room? Also as I am not in charge of booking the room would it still be possible for me to do this? X
