How often does families of 5 try to stay in a studio? Let's say 2 adults and 3 children ages 8, 7 & 3 for an example. Will Disney aloud this or will Disney turn them away from a studio and if available make them upgrade to a 1-BR. I just spoke with someone recently trying to do this.

I know the studio rules are 3 adults and 2 children plus 1 child if under the age of 3 for a total of 5.

Occupancy issues tend to be a hot topic, so chances are this thread will get closed. The official word is that you cannot book a studio for 5, unless one child is under the age of 3. With that said, I will say that we had 5 in a studio at Wilderness Lodge. Our youngest was 5 at the time. When I booked our room, I asked if we could book 5 and she said they could allow it. It was even stated as 5 on our reservation confirmation. That was quite a few years ago, so maybe now they would not allow it. I do not think Disney is going to make you leave a room if you have a 3 year old. It will definitely be close quarters in a studio.......

Hi, BWVillas actually have some studios that are for 5 (there is a day bed ). I think they all have a Board Walk View. Joan

MS will no longer accept a 5 person reservation for a studio unless one of the guests is under the age of 3. A portable crib (Pac 'n Play) is provided for the infant.

Occupancy discussions are welcome in this thread.
