Booking a single night at a DW resort

We have a time share someone is letting us use for free. BUt we want to stay the day before and the day after it. Any suggestions on booking a resort room for just 1 night? I checked the prices on their website and almost dropped dead. I have always booked packages, never dreamed what 1 night would cost.

Go over to www.mousesavers.com and see if there are any discounts out for the time you are going. Then call Disney and ask for any avaiable. THe web site only gives rack rates.

Are you a AAA member? You can get AAA discount for room only reservations. (not a great discount, but better than nothing) Just call WDW to get a quote. I don't think you can check for AAA discounts online.

Yea, but Expedia requires a three day stay.

What about trying Dreams. Click on resorts at the top of the page and go thru thier booking site. They have gotten me good rates for one or two night stays in the past.

Yes AAA. I did check into Dreams. They seem the best so far. Except I would like to stay at one of the resorts to take advantage of perks. Problem is one of the nights is Fri after Thanksgiving... Big Bucks,...

i did find something out when i booked mine yesterday. I checked hotels.com found what i wanted, called the hotels reservation line, asked for a price, when it was higher, and it always is, i told them i found it cheaper on hotels.com and guess what? they had a "managers special" try it, it's toll free so ya got nothin to lose, i payed $2 more than hotels.com, but i got no cancellation fees, no reservation fees....was better by far

I just booked a room at Pop Century for one night prior to our cruise since we will be staying at our timeshare when we return. I remembered that they had sent my husband a post card a couple of months ago and I called to see if the offer was still good and ended up booking the room for $59 plus tax.
