Booking A Reservation Across UYs

I’m hoping to book a 2BR lockoff for a conference at VGF that we have in early December 2021 and I have a December UY. Ideally, I’d like to use leftover banked 2019 points that are due to expire on 11/30/2021 for the nights of 11/24-11/30 and then use my 2021 points for the remaining nights in December.

Can I book the November nights on Dec. 24 of this year and then call MS to extend the reservation into December? ***Confession time: I was able to book a lockoff this morning and I intend to walk it forward, so I know I’m going to be able to get it.*** I have a feeling that if I try to do it myself by waiting for 8 AM on 01/01/2021, that all of the studios will be gone in an instant, and by default so will any lockoffs.

I recall reading something about doing this a while back but never thought I would use the info, so I never filed it away in my memory.

Someone has mentioned that MS is able to do it because you can not online, I think they have some ability to book and connect, assuming those days fall into the 11 month plus 7 nights timeframe,

What I would do...now that you have it is call closer to the actual date to ask them the question.

I just wanted to report back here in case anyone searches this subject in the future.

I called Member Services this morning to extend my November stay into December, which crosses my December UY. Not only were they able to book it for me, they were also able to do it under a single reservation number AND they waitlisted the final night for me because it was inexplicably unavailable.

They were able to make my February 28- March 3 HHI stay a single reservation for me with a March UY. That was something I could not do.
