Booking a Package for Jan. 2010

I "think" you can book a room only 500 days out.......... but what about a package? We are wanting to stay from 1/10/2010 - 1/15/2010 -- when can I call to book my package. Also, does anyone know when 2010 rates will come out? I think I saw around Aug. is that right?

Mid August, but you should be able to book a room only for Jan 2010 earlier than that, but I don't know when. August is when the next years packages come out also.

Rates and packages for the following year lately have been released in August. So I would guess that packages for 2010 will not be available until then. You can book a room only reservation 499 days in advance, but if you want a package, there may not be any advantage to booking that now. When you go to book the package, they would need to rebook it from the beginning, asking for a new deposit, and then cancel the existing reservation, refunding the deposit. They can't just change the room only to a package, nor can they move any money you have paid for the room only over to the package reservation.

we just booked our hotel for jan 2010 and the cm told us that when packages are released we can just call back for an upgrade
i think it is one of those cases where if one cm tells you no you just call back kind of frustrating in a way
