Booking a 1 BR Plus a Studio Possible?

Is it possible to book a one bedroom plus a studio? Could the studio be connected to the one bedroom? I'm looking at OKW.

Generally that is the make up of the 2 bedroom...

Just make sure you don't get a dedicated 2 bedroom and you will have a studio and a 1 bedroom...

A dedicated 2 BR only has 1 entry door into the room (vs a 1 BR + a studio would have 2 doors), and the dedicated 2 BR would not have the kitchenette in the 2nd BR.

Be sure to make the reservation as a lock-off 2BR villa - it will use fewer points than a 1BR and Studio and it will guarantee that they will connect. All keys will open both exterior doors. If you don't need the mini-kitchen and/or the extra exterior door, I'd just reserve it as a 2BR and you'll have a little more space in the 2nd BR.

If it is reserved as a 1BR and a Studio there will be no guarantee that they will connect and could even be on different floors or in a different building.

Just to add another thought...

If you are considering going with another group (hence the request for a 1BR and Studio), although it may cost you more points, booking a 1BR and studio separately will also allow you to cancel one of them if someone backs out. If you book a lock-off 2BR, you'd have to cancel the entire reservation and try to rebook a 1BR (or studio). By booking them separately, you are also able to add a DDP to one or both and that way ALL the guests do not have to be on the same plan. If you book a 2BR, either everyone does the DDP or nobody does.

It depends on why you want the separate. If you simply want separate entrances, it's cheaper to get a 2 BR lockoff. If you want the option of canceling part but not all, you'll need to either get a 1 BR and separate studio OR a 2 BR plus a second reservation for the preferred smaller component. If you book a separate 1 BR and studio you can later change it to a 2 BR but only subject to 2 BR availability. There is no way to guarantee that they would be connected as separate reservations but you could make the request and I'd give you about a 75-85% chance of having them connected at OKW.
