Booking 2 rooms

Going to be taking my parents on trip in Aug 2018...11 month window is approaching quickly. Just a strategy question...we want 2 value (or standard if we have to) rooms at AKV (Jambo if possible but would do Kidani). I know 8 AM on day 11 months out but can I snag 2 rooms in one search on the site or do I need to call MS instead? What works best in your experiences? This is out first time booking 2 rooms for same trip.

You can do 2 rooms on line, but 1 at a time. Aug is not a really busy time, so I would not worry too much, unless you really have to have 2 of Value studios.

The searches and reservations would be separate transactions. I'm pretty sure that MS has to do them separately just like you would. You can contact them ahead of time to see what they say.

Thanks. I spoke to them and they told me to do it online is best since you get the hour head start. Hopefully the lag in time doesn't cause any issues but we shall see.

I've never done this but I would try having two different browsers open (Firefox and chrome for example) with your reservation information already keyed in to the search. That way when you finish one reservation you can immediately go and search for the next one.

Value studios (and 2BRs) are the issue. You need to do one reservation before starting the other, and completing one actually takes time because you have several pages to get through before the reservation is actually confirmed and points are used. Value studios can often disappear extremely quickly at 8 a.m. even sometimes for moderate demand times like August so you should assume you have a risk that you might not be able to get two value studios. Standard view on the other hand will be easy to get and is often still available even at Jambo at 7 months out for August time.

No, it will not work. Searching for a room releases anything in your previous search.
