Booking 2 placed with same email and guest?

As we are trying to determine what we'd like to do, are we allowed to book 2 places with same name, email and guests?

So we make sure to have the dates we want?

But keep in mind Disney can, if they so choose, cancel one of your reservations. Best not to hang on to multiple reservations for very long.

I guess but having done it many times I don't believe they do that.
I book 2 rooms frequently, me and DH in 1, me, DD and DGD in the other. They never cancel 1
Heck, over New Years I booked rooms for just DH and I a lot, doubling up till I knew where we were staying. As long as you are paying, I really do not think they care. How do they know you don't plan to use both?
