BOOKED UP Leave NCL on the 22nd of August and return home the 14th of september.

Shame you are not going a little earlier we are planning a DISmeet at OKW in August but its looking like it will be on the 10th.
We cruise 21st-25th then I am probably going to arrange a smaller meet between 25th and us returning home on the 28th if you get chance to join us.

A DISmeet is just a get together to meet others off the board, Did 2 last August at OKW, had a few drinks, kids went for a swim, each went on about 4 hours(longer for some of us) some people just popped in to say hello, others stayed the whole evening. I will be doing another like this at OKW probably on the 10th August but then between 25th-28th I will be arranging another for anyone that arrives later in the month, possibly at DTD or Capt Cooks at the Poly, arranged one there August 2009, OK for just a few people.

congrats on booking!!! i'm still in the trying to figure out what to book stage...
actually, trying to figure out when we can all go stage, which is the really tough nut to crack..

it will either be in august or September...
and hopefully by the time we figure out when we can go, free dining with the discount at OKW will still be available

Your are right DS will be 17 this August but people will be there all ages, Hopefully Beth (BethEJo) will be there, she is similar age to you, she will be over in Florida all summer as part of the Disney International College program (depends if she can get time off)
We don't bite she will be fine, when I was your age I was very shy, the years change you.

No idea when Matt will start wanting to go away without us. Doing his A levels now with no intentions of stopping going with us. Maybe none of us will be going in a couple of years due to Uni fees

As little as possible, like most 17 year olds

He is not 100% sure. He knows plenty what he doesn't want to do or can't do. He is colour blind so that rules out a few things including following me in the Floristry business.
He has taken an interest in Journalism, English is his strong subject so I guess something to put that to good use. He has 15 GCSE's all high grades and taking 5 A levels (Eng language, Eng Lit, Sociology, Psychology & Critical thinking)
We will have to wait and see what his options are after his Alevels.

Well according to my careers advisor i was going to be a bircklayer (nout wrong with that, wouldnt have minded one bit . But did my GCSES and did well then a level and now studying civil engineering with disaster management .
So tell him not to rule every thing out

Yes, this will be our 3rd August in a row at OKW. I think Disney hotels are way overpriced but with the discount & free DDP its a great deal. We will be there 5th-21st then Disney cruise for 4 nights before last 3 nights at the Holiday Inn DTD.

Yer i think there pritty expensive. My mam and dad use to take us to OKW when we were little. my mam says its alot cheaper now with free dining lol. Me and my GF stayed at SSR last year i loved it but fancied abit somewhere abit diff.
