Hi Wayne, at the top and bottom of their web page it says that they are part of the Thomas cook group, that was one of the reasons that I booked through them, (not used them before) the main reason was the price :cool1: especially with the departure date being at the start of the kids summer hols.

I booked over phone just to confirm the price (website) the girl told me that US Airways offer about 5 seats per day at a lower price.

After you posted I looked at their site and saw that. Never seen it before, wonder when they added that?
Just looked thru my emails I have one there for a car rental with Netflights from April 2003 so been using them for 6 years at least, I have no email records before that. Used then for numerous cars, hotels and flights, a good company although some complain about their customer service.

The rental i did in 2003 I can't believe how expensive it was, wouldn't cost this now, 6 years on.
Car: Dodge Intrepid 2 Door Auto A/c (or similar)
Pick-up date/time: 10-Oct-2003 19:30
Drop-off date/time: 31-Oct-2003 11:30
Rental Charge: GBP499

I can't belive you paid that much Wayne:scared1: You must have been crackers 6 years ago :rotfl2:

I'm now looking at USrentacar for a deal, but Dollar direct on a Jeep Liberty is coming up at a better price, just waiting on USrentacar to reply and see if they can beat Dollar. Never used Alamo or Budget at MCO, feedback about Budget states long wait times for the cars.

Oh, I have always been crackers:rotfl2:

Budget desks are just like Dollar, you can arrive and no-one there but just as easily arrive and a line in excess of 1 hour. Even if the line looks OK it can be very very slow moving.
If you rent with Dollar register with Express, lets you cut to front of line. https://www.dollar.com/Express/MainMember.aspx
Or with USrentacar/Budget once you have your voucher you can preregister here, lets you totally bypass the line and go to the kiosk in the parking lot. https://registrations.carrentalsupport.com/index.php?partnercode=e=&bookedBrand=Budget

Alamo also do something but I don't use them.

we had the jeep liberty last october, just the 2 of us and we found it so uncomfortable-yet you may not, but we did feel every bump in the road with it worse car we ever had!

Thanks for the heads-up on the Jeep, Netty :thumbsup2 I've had a look at a few reviews on the Jeep and it confirms what you are saying, no wonder the price was good, time for another look around.

The best we ever had was a 7 seater minivan for 3 of us!! loads of room-especially for loads of cases coming back..:) great to drive, loved being that bit higher up than a car!

We were upgraded to 7 seater at Xmas for 4 of us. Never fancied one but was suprised, really enjoyed driving it.
