I booked the WL several weeks ago on the WDW internet site and never received any type of confirmation. My credit card has been charged so I know they received payment. Should I call WDW or is this normal procedure for internet bookings????
Paper confirmations from WDW seem to be random. SOmetimes I get them, sometimes I get 3, and sometimes I get none! I would suggest calling and asking them to fax/mail you a paper confirmation. You should have a reservation number from the internet site that you can reference.
I would think you'd at least get an e-mail or something. I'm neurotic like that though and would be calling to see about getting something in writing. I am also careful to double check all information when received.
I didn't get one either this year, though I have in the past. But we also were charged so I know it went through I plan on taking the credit card statement with us just in case (though I doubt there will be any problem - I've called about it and its there, I just wish they would send a confirmation!
I posted this same question about a month ago. I booked CR online at the Disney website but never did receive a confirmation in the mail. I know my credit card has been charged. I've called and given my confirmation number and it showes up in their reservation system.
Did you print out the confirmation page from when you booked online? I noticed on my print out it says at the top "Confirmed Room Reservation". It says to print out this page and note the confirmation number for future reference. I don't believe they will send you anything else in the mail unless you call and ask for something.
I reserved the same way, but received a confirmation number at the end of my booking which I then printed out. Will be bringing that and credit card statement with me.
