Booked with USA3000 - a little nervous

Just looking for more info on this airline. I just booked my tickets for Nov/Dec out of Philly for $742 for 5 people. Such a difference over other fares I could find. Am I destined to worry about this for the next 5 months? Just wondering if the savings is worth flying a "not so mainstream" airline. :confused3

Thanks in advance for the advice. I know I posted about this earlier, but I'm an info addict and will worry every minute of every day until 11/25!

I can't give you an actual experience because I've never flown USA3000 but I can tell you that I looked into this airline from O'Hare to Orlando for our trip in late July- the rate was the lowest I could find but the dates didn't work out. They only fly to/from O'Hare to MCO on Thursdays and Sundays. If the dates would have worked out, I would have tried it due to the rate alone. How bad could it be? My opinion is I will try any airline that flys out of O'Hare once. I think the business model behind it is that it is a charter service so the flights are limited. I would expect a no-frills experience but that is most airlines today anyway, ins't it? The rate you listed from Phlly sounds really good for five people. Good luck!

I also have not had an experience with USA3000, but friends of ours fly them all the time from RSW-PHL, and love them!!

I flew them last summer and had no complaints. We watched a movie and got real food!

I would fly with them all the time, if only their schedules were better.

Have a great time and don't worry! :)

I, like you, are a first time flyer with USA 3000. I got 4 round trip tickets for $792. This is for holiday season in December. Everyone else was over $400 per person round trip :sad2: I couldn't resist the $808 savings. I've heard good and bad things, but won't judge until I see for myself. They have been around for a while here in Philly. I'm kind of excited about the real food and in flight entertainment. I had the same mixed feelings the first time I flew Spirit. Now I won't hesitate to book with them. I hope to have the same experience with USA 3000.

We just flew USA 3000 this April from Philly to Cancun. We had a great experince. No problems what so ever and would fly them again in a heartbeat.

Any idea what they do if a flight is cancelled for some reason (like weather or mechanicals)? Non-charters just book you on the next available flight, but since a charter like USA3000 only runs on certain days would you have to wait until their next scheduled flight which could be several days away??

My boss used USA3000 for a trip to Florida and he was very happy with them.
He had no complaints.

Well! I have never flown USA3000 but I will be in October! And I can't wait! When I fly to Orlando I usually use Spirit Airlines but when I was booking their prices were astronomical and I found out about USA3000 through these boards and actually changed my dates to make it work with there schedule! We have 5 people going Departing on Wens October 26th and Arriving back in PHL on Fri Nov 4th! We paid i believe $852.00 for 5 people. An awesome deal at the time! I've only heard good things so far! My theory is I'll try it once if I'm not happy then I'll find another! But it sounds like we won't need to worry!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I will jsut have to wait and see I guess.

PlutoPony, I do share your worry though. I'm hoping that my dates are before any major snow, weather, etc. but there is never a guarantee. I may call USA3000 to ask this question. If I get an answer I will post it here.

Good luck!

OK - just spoke with a live person at USA3000 about my reservation. Apparently, if there is a delay for weather reasons, the flight time may be delayed, or they will provide another flight the next day if it is safe (even if they are not normally scheduled to fly that day). I feel a little better now, but still worry about them cancelling for another reason down the road.

Hope this helps anyone who had questions.
