Booked Vacation For Easter 2006

Well, we decided to brave the crowds and book our vacation for Easter 2006. I want to thank everyone for their comments/suggestions earlier this week. We recently received the 100 free points since we just added points so I figured what the heck.

We are leaving the Thursday before Good Friday and will return the following Friday, April 21, 2006. So I guess we will fall between both Easter weeks. I am sure it will be crowded but the main idea of this trip is to relax. We are going to try to relax by the pool every other day and do the parks on the other days.

I absolutely can't wait to go back HOME! Does anyone know what is going on with the Disney airline system being down. They have been telling me for a week they can't make airline reservations for anyone. I ended up calling the airlines direct to get a flight. I didn't want to wait since Easter week is so popular. Call me the planner... I know.

Congratulations on nailing down your plans for Easter! I'll be down there too, though my plans aren't as far along as yours. Probably will spend Apr. 13-16 at Clearwater or down at Ft. Myers. I have BCV ressies for Apr. 16-21. Will probably book an onsite hotel for Apr. 21-23. Gotta get busy and get things more nailed down. At least the BCV nights are set.

Eastertime is crowded, but definitely workable by making full use of EMH and fastpasses. It's not NEARLY as bad as Christmas/New Years week, IMHO.
