Now what?

Here's a little back story, the trip was originally suppose to take place in August before everyone went back to school. There was to be a total of 14 of us, well that changed. It will now be my husband, our daughter (she'll be 4 when we go), our son (he'll be 2 when we go), and me. We're actually going down in October as a birthday trip for my husband and me, the 19-24 (his birthday is the 19, mine is the 24), we're staying at POFQ .

We're really excited since this is our first trip but what do I do next? We've decided that we don't want to go commando and I don't ride roller coasters or anything scary and he doesn't want to go without someone else. This trip is pretty much intended to get our feet wet and introduce ourselves to the world and then we want to go back in a few years and we'll be a little bit more familiar with it.

I guess I feel like I should be planning something but what?

You will have a blast! There are only a couple of roller coasters throughout the parks. There are TONS of things to do and see. Shows, rides (many slow moving), 3-D movies, etc. You will be so surprised at all that you can do and you probably won't even get to see everything.
You have plenty of time to plan your trip. Just don't forget to make your character meal reservations in advance...90 days out. Those fill up fast.

you can get a book - right now Passporter.com is having their $1 passporter sale - it is a 2007 edition but will still have some really good info in it. I really like that book - you could also try the unoffical guide to WDW - you can try your local library first too - if they don't have copies they can get them through interlibrary loans. Plus of course the DISboards are chock full of superb info. these will start to give you an idea of the attractions, rides and dinning experiences. HTH
