booked thru DU, have question regarding "upgrades"

I booked thru Dreams Unlimited and wonder IF i were lucky enough to recieve an upgrade would DU contact me OR
would I find out when my documents came OR
do some find out only after they check onto the boat?

Could be all of the above.....if your TA gets notified before you sail they will let you know, if they are not notified or the upgrade happens later on, you will find out in your documents, or you could even find out when you are checking in!!! So, all you statements could apply!!!

We also booked 2nd cruise with DU and found out about upgrade when docs arrived as the cabin listed was not the one we had reserved. We were upgraded to a verandah and it was great. Now we will never go again without the verandah...very sneaky!

Last year (2/04) cruise I booked with DU, I had already received my documents, and DU emailed me regarding my upgrade. It could happen to you at any time! Good luck!
