Booked the Cruisin' California Segway Tour!

I booked the segway tour for me and my Dad yesterday and I'm so excited. I went on the tour last May and had a blast and I just know that my Dad will think it's really cool!

DH, DS, and I will be there for 8 days at the end of September-beginning of October. DD and DSIL just moved to Southern California. They, along with my Mom and Dad (we'll be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary ) will be joining us for the last four days of the trip! We are going to have one great Disney family time!

Hurray for you and DH! You are going to love the tour. In May, our tour guides made us stop and get off of the segways about every 30 minutes or so to give ourselves a break. One of our stops was by Burger Invasion where the tour guides had us try to find hidden Mickeys. I'm wondering how this has changed now that McDonald's is no longer in the park. Have a great time on your tour!

We did the Segway Tour last year and even my DL hating husband enjoyed it!
You feel so special being in the park with nobody else around!
By far the best tour!!

Sorry, yes, I'm a premium AP holder but still new.

It is fun! Basically, you meet your tour guides at 7:00 am for a contintental breakfast and some quick video training. From there you head into California Adventure for helmets and hands on training. The training part is really fun, too. After that, you get to ride your segway around the park with your group. The tour guides share interesting trivia about the park and you get to stop for pictures every so often. At the end of the tour, you get a 5x7 photo of your tour group and a commemorative pin.

Riding the segway is an amazing experience. It's almost like it becomes an extension of your being because of the way you control it. I highly recommend this tour for everyone but there are age and physical qualifications you must meet to be able to participate.

I think it was $99. There's a 20% discount for Disney VISA and AAA. that really helped.

I'm so excited were going Oct 15-19 and planning on doing the tour on the 18th I know I can't make reservation until 30days ahead but I was wondering if anyone knows if you have to pay when your making reservation or when your there?

You pay at the time you make the reservations. I have an AP and a Disney VISA and when I called to make my reservations on September 2, they told me they no longer had the Disney VISA discount, only the AP. I gave the CM my AP number but checked the Disney VISA website later and it still showed that a 20% discount should have been available.

My Dad and I are going on the tour October 2 and we can hardly wait!

I was planning on using AAA the website says you get 20% discount with AP-AAA-Disney visa.

Great to meet you too RaeRae's Mommy! We had a great time and yes, the crowd level was fabulous - we won the dream fastpasses and never used a single one since the lines were so short.
