SOOO jealous! DH and I are doing this at EPCOT in Oct. but we really wanted to do this on our family trip to DL in Nov but our almost 11 yr old is probably 40 lbs too light. someday.....

Actually your almost 11 yr old is 5 years too young. Sorry about that.
There is an 18 yr old age limit for the segway tour, but 16 -18 can participate with a paid parent or legal guardian.

On the plus side, what a fun way to celebrate a 16th birthday! (in almost 5 years)

Is this something fun for a person to do alone? I want to surprise my DH with something fun. Would he enjoy himself without me there to experience it with him? Also, will the castmembers take pics of him for me since he will be alone? How long does the tour last? Thanks!

I did the tour by myself last May and had a blast. I was not the only one in my group doing so either. I think it's a great way to start the day and the CMs use your own camera to take your photo at various points in the tour. My Dad and I will be doing the tour 1 week from tomorrow and we can't wait.

This sounds like a blast. Does it require a lot of coordination? My DH is not the most graceful being on the planet.
