Booked Silver Lake Resort

I was able to exchange and book two 2 bedroom villas (sleep 8) for our Disney trip in mid August. I've been reading a lot of reviews over the past weeks. We're decided to give the Silver Lake Resort a try. I hope we won't be disappointed.

My friends have a time share there and they love it. Very close to the parks. The pics I've seen look nice. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We really enjoyed Silver Lake...there are several places that are much nicer, but this is still one of our favorites. You cannot beat the location, it is small and not a million people running around, the staff is great...love the pool area

The only thing I would suggest is to call the resort and ask for a building away from the back of the resort..there is one building(don't remember which number) that is up against a busy road that I would believe would be really noisey.

I do not think you will be disappointed

I just talked to someone at the resort about our room location. Very pleasant customer service. We're looking forward to our stay!

Did they tell you which building you are going to be in?

No. She told me that all of the rooms are assigned the day of check-in. However, I was able to request a room on the upper floor, and two rooms next to each other. We're traveling with another family and have two 2 bedroom villas that sleep 8. I asked if we could have a newer building, but she said that the rooms are smaller than what we have. She did say that the larger 2 bedroom villas have just been renovated.
