Booked seats with virgin in the upper deck

Managed to get what we wanted today.... 2 seats in the upper deck. Went for two at the back (row 80). Very excited as its something new to look forward to.

We got in at 8am, straight away. I checked at about 10.30am and the seats upstairs were half gone. At 1pm there were only 4 left. So I'm guessing they're the seats everyone wants.

We had seats in "the bubble" on the way back last year. It's much quieter up there and we had pretty good service because there was a crew member up there with us.

We loved sitting in the bubble both ways last year!

Having the extra little storage locker next to your seat is fab for putting all your stuff in that you think you will need for the flight - especially good if you are travelling with kids!

Can you ring at exactly 90 days out and can you do it online?

This made me panic as I have been excited out the seats I booked in the bubble for both legs of if next trip. They are all still showing as reserved. Phew!

I did it online at exactly 90 days. At 8 am

Does anyone know what config the plane has, Looking at seatguru it could be one of 4.. but I am guessing it will probably be this one?

I am going in October and so I want to be 100% prepared... as does everyone on these forums

That's the config that I just had when I booked.
