We are staying for 7 nights and have sit down ressies each night, but today saw an opening for our arrival date for Via Napoli and I booked it. We also have one for the last night we are there. I just feel like with so many of our other ressies we will be eating meat and potatoes and I kind of get tired of that food, so think italian for 2 days will be a good thing. :cool1: Anyone else ever book the same restaurant twice during their vacation? Linda

Yes indeed. Maybe not for both dinner, but one for dinner, one for lunch, or one for breakfast.

I actually have Le Cellier booked 3 times for our trip. Oct 3rd, 5th for dinner and the 8th for lunch. And before anyone asks how or why, I booked the 5th at 180days, got lucky when I was just messing around one night showing a friend that you can never get into Le Cellier if you dont book way in advance and low and behold the 3rd was available. The lunch Im piggybacking onto with a family friend who actually made the ressie and had their partner cancel so they invited me instead. As to why, Because its my favorite place.

We have done that for breakfast but never dinner...too many places to eat at to repeat in the same trip

We ate at Via Napoli in Aug and I am not sure I would go there once on my next trip! ;) Just kidding (well not really).
But the specifics aside, we don't eat an any TS twice during a trip. There are far to many places to enjoy, especially at Epcot. :)
Worst case, you can try Via Napoli on your first night...if you love it, then you are all set for your last night. If not, you can always try and get in somewhere else. :goodvibes

We do the same thing - this past January we had three reservations at Le Cellier in 10 days, and in January 2011 we also have three reservations there. We have also eaten at Kona multiple times in one trip, and POFQ for beignets multiple times. YUM!

:rotfl::rotfl:Great minds think alike! I have Le Cellier booked for both lunch and dinner for my upcoming Dec trip. I wanted to eat dinner there one last time before it becomes 2 credits.:rotfl:

I haven't done it before but i will be doing it on my next trip mostly for breakfast and lunch though.

wow i actually did the same thing as you! i have Napoli for two consecutive days! however i may decide to eat at the new Hacienda place the following day and cancel it. The pizza looks great! I've been on a diet for two months and i'm starving every minute of it, so i'm ready to splurge at disney!

Haven't done the same meal, but have often had 2 meals (usually breakfast and lunch/dinner) at Captain's Grille during our stays, including next month.

We ate lunch twice at Yak 'n' Yeti on our trip last year and when we go down in November we are -- YES! -- eating twice at Yak 'n' Yeti! We love the menu, we have multiple things that we love, and so we really enjoy hitting it twice in one trip.

Recently when I took DS on a trip to Chicago for a week, at his insistence we ate breakfast at the same place each morning!

Vacations are about what makes you happy, and are not about how you *should* be doing things. Go for it!!

There's nothing wrong with eating at any restaurant you like as many time as you would like to eat there. We often go back to our favorite restaurants whether at WDW or anyplace else. Be happy and enjoy. Go with the flow. Trust me, it makes for a better vacation.

We have Le Cellier booked twice during our upcoming trip as well. First, for lunch on the day we'll attend MVMCP that night. We'll go back again for dinner on our last night.

We have Le Cellier booked twice for our vacation in December.

I was concerned that we wouldn't get a Candlelight Processional dinner package with Le Cellier, so I made a reservation for later in the week as a backup. Then, after we did get the CP package with Le Cellier, we decided to keep the "backup" reservation, too!

Maybe we can use this as an opportunity to order something off the menu other than the mushroom filet. Or not. ;)

Guilty! We always have Crystal Palace on arrival/departure day for dinner, and Cape May for dinner early on and later during our trip-dinner also.We love the variety of both places;sometimes we try different entree's,other times we kind of snack on salad, peel and eat shrimp, desserts etc...Go for what YOU like!:goodvibes

Yes! We ate at Shutters in the middle of our trip and loved the food (and our great waiter) so much that we canceled our reservation for Le Cellier to eat at Shutters again on our last night. It absolutely was worth it!

Wow! That's got to be a story for the DIS record book! That does not go along with any of the conventional wisdom on this board!:rolleyes1 Glad to hear it, though...I'll bet you made somebody very happy when you canceled that ADR for Le Cellier! Shutter's almost always gets a bad rap in dining reports.

We would probably not do that because there are so many choices but do whatever makes you happy!

Hey, no wonder why people can't get a ressie at LeCellier with all you people who are double dippin' :lmao::rotfl::lmao:. We had a LeCellier for our upcoming trip but had to move our vacation date up 2 days and had to cancel our LeCellier. It's OK because we made Citricos ressies, so I'm hoping their filet is great also. Enjoy everyone!!!!!
