First, I'd like to thank folks on these boards for providing so much useful information regarding fine dining in Disney.

My wife and I, along with our 2 1/2 year old sun are heading to Disney for his first trip in September. We arrive on a Saturday, stay 6 nights, and leave on a Friday. Please let me know what you think of the reservations I have booked - keeping in mind we have a 2 year old. If you think we are missing out on anything really wonderful, I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone has. Last time at Disney we did a bunch of the signatures, so this time we are looking for something different.

Food Itinerary (who would guess Disney has rides too? :)
- Saturday - lunch at Coral Reef (only lunch reservation I made, but my son will absolutely love seeing all the fish). Dinner at Chefs de France, hopefully will see Illuminations
- Sunday - early dinner at Kona, will be back at MK for Wishes
- Monday - have reservations at both Sanaa and Boma, haven't decided yet which we are going to keep. It's probably going to be Boma, since my wife doesn't dig curry flavors
- Tuesday - Dinner reservations at the Wave
- Wednesday - Dinner reservations at 'Ohana. I wasn't gonna do both Kona and 'Ohana, but I hear the experiences are very different, and I'm hoping my son loves the activities
- Thursday - Early dinner at Kouzzina, hopefully in time to go back to Epcot to see Fantasmic.

For counter service, my wife and I have enjoyed Wolfgang Puck express and earl of sandwich at DTD, are fans of Cosmic Rays and Pekos bill at MK, and have typically done Flametree at AK (although I hear it may be closed the week we are there (9/20-9/24). We never do CS at Epcot, and really have no clue whats good at Hollywood studios, so any thoughts are welcome.

Thanks.

Sci-Fi is fun at DHS but it is dark and I'm not sure if the movies (old black/white sci-fi) would scare your little one or not. We like the burgers/shakes at lunch and sitting in the little cars is fun. 50's cafe has really good fried chicken with a 50's atmosphere.

I think all your choices will be fine with toddler -- family-friendly choices there. But wanted to mention a couple of things...you can't see Illuminations from inside Les Chefs...did you mean you hope to be done in time to be out of there before Illuminations?

On your Sanaa/Boma choice...if you have an early dinner booked at Sanaa (like between 5 & 6:00 p.m.) it's a great place to see the animals very close. And not everything on the menu is strong-curry flavor (I don't care for curry, either...and was able to find foods I could eat.) Boma is a buffet, of course, so lots of choices there but no view to speak of. Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great place to visit, though...wonderful lobby & viewing area outside. Your child will probably love the place.

And, Kouzzina is at Boardwalk, but you mention going back to Epcot for Fantasmic? Guess you mean taking boat back to Hollywood Studios? With the drastic cut-back on shows you'll want to be on the way to HS by around 6:00 to allow boat time, getting into the park & walking to the theater time (plan on getting to the theater at least an hour before show to get a seat.) We've gone during very slow times and can vouch that the crowds are just as bad during the slower periods because they cut back so much on how often they have the show basically everyone shows up. So there might only be 10,000 people total in Disney World that day, but 90% of them want to see that one show:scared1: Last September we were there in similar circumstances (only 2 shows in the week) and the theater was standing-room-only at 45 minutes before show time.

Hoping to be done with dinner before the fireworks at Epcot.

Yeah, I meant Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic. We have a 5:10 dinner reservation, so hopefully that's enough time.

For CS in Epcot I really like Tangierine Cafe, but Sunshine Seasons (in The Land) is also good and may be better with a little one. Those are the only two that come to mind really. I try to avoid eating in DHS altogether...but when I do, I usually have lunch at Starring Rolls. They have pretty decent sandwiches, and the desserts are to die for. :)
