Booked our honeymoon....

I have booked our honeymoon, 5 nights at the Hotel New York My fiance and I are stupidly excited, but most people I have told have been a bit mean about the whole thing..... they say we should be sunning ourselves on a beach for two weeks, and drinking ourselves in to oblivion on an all-inclusive deal.

I know that I can rely on everyone here to be excited for me!

Which restaurant would you chose for an extra-special, last night meal?

Woooohooo Sounds great!! Great Choice of Hotel to......Ive never stayed in HNY! But the reviews and pics i see it looks lovely! Want to stay there myself.

DLP would be my choice of honeymoon to!! It isnt all about sun sea and sand these days
In my opinion it's a perfect place to spend your Honeymoon! Very Romantic. When do you go?

I dont have any advice on a place to eat, ive not really done restaurants at DLP as of yet.
But im sure someone will have great info for you!

I have pointed out that one of the reasons that we chose DLP was that, no matter where we are in the parks, we can be back at the hotel if we need ....... a nap!

We are there from 8th October for 5 nights

sounds lovely- let other people scoff, just leaves more room in the parks for us all to enjoy!!

California Grill produces some lovely meals - it's quite pricey but the quality is very good. It's worth trying to dig out a sample menu for it though, because it's not always to everybody's taste (it's "posh" food if that makes sense).

Ignore other people, we had exactly the same when we said we were getting married/honeymooning in WDW.

Who cares?! It's your honeymoon, do what's going to make you happiest.

Non-Disney folk just don't get it. And I'm kind of glad they don't as think how crowded it'd be if everyone felt the same!

I can't think of a better way to spend your honeymoon - ignore everyone else and do your own thing.

I think California Grill would be a good choice too - never been myself but just the setting looks beautiful
