Can't wait! We're staying at the Newport Bay this time, and going May 22-25 (3 nights/4 days). I'm really glad we managed to use the 40% offer to get this hotel as I have a damaged back and this is close enough for me to walk to if I need a break. We've previously stayed at the Davey Crockett and Santa Fe. So hopefully we'll see a difference in our more luxurious hotel too.
We've booked Buffalo Bill's for our first night, we saw it back in 2007 but skipped it in 2009. I believe there is character involvement now, so we're looking forward to that. I've ordered the latest Brit Guide o get some planning underway.
This is exactly what we need after a dreadful year last year. I spent 4 months bedridden in agony before spinal surgery, my mum was diagnosed with cancer, and my hubby spent months away training before deploying to Afghanistan. My little boy who is 8 had to grow up a lot, and we cannot wait to see his face light up when he's at Disneyland, we want to see him enjoying being a carefree little boy again.
Any hints/tips will be most welcome. We're driving and would appreciate a recommendation of a decent and reasonably priced hotel close by to stay in on the Monday night. The plan is to get checked in as early as possible on the Tuesday morning (we'll leave luggage in our car) and get to the magic straight away.

Hi

Congratulations !

Delighted for you after what sounds like a horrible year, you certainly deserve to have a great holiday and I hope this will be a much happier and healthy year all round for your family. I will be interested to hear what you think of the NBC as we will be there the week after you, the first time there for us too.

I had a look at hotels.com and found this as a suggestion for a cheap option for you on the Monday:

Sejours et Affaires Serris Rive Gauche for £58 (assuming 2 adults and 1 child age 8). It is really close.

We have not stayed there ourselves but it looks reasonable. I believe the Kyriad is often recommended for first nights too.

Have a magical time :goodvibes

Congratulations on booking!   Hope you have a fantastic holiday after such a rotten time.
