Booked our 2013 Trip! 1st time at our home resort, BLT

I've been surfing the web looking for Black Friday deals and am not really finding any I want and/or need.

So I went to DVCMember.com to check my account, bank my remaining points for the year - and ended up booking our 2013 Trip to BLT!

I also noticed that they are selling the PAP for $399. Can I buy it now and not activate until our trip in Sept 2013? That will make it active until Sept 2014 right? If I remember correctly, it is 365 days from activation date, not purchase date.

I just want to make sure I can buy them now and keep them until we need them next year.

Planning starts!!!! I was hoping for a Thanksgiving week trip (which won't open until next month), but what I have (1st week of September) might actually work.

Yes you can buy the pass now (you have until December 31st 2012 to buy it) and then it has be activated by December 31st 2013).

We just bought our a few days ago, but don't plan on activating until our August 2013 trip as our current APs are good until mid-March

Thanks! That's awesome! Now I'm trying to find ways to have more trips 2013/2014! I might downgrade that 2bedroom Themepark View to maybe a 1 BR Standard/Lake View instead so we can squeeze another trip in 2013 and another in 2014.

ETA: I just did this. Cancelled my original trip and switched from a 2BR Themepark view to a 1 BR Lake View (standard was not available anymore) and saved ~100 points)
