Booked On April 2006 Magic Cruise

That is a big difference in price!! We have 2 connecting cat 10 rooms on deck 7......the price for the 5 of us (Russell is staying at home at this point but we can add him later) is $7222.65 for April 15,2006 on the eastern sailing
We originally booked with Disney (cost of 7920.65) but switched to Costco to save $$$$$$$$$$
I just wrote to Roger and Maria and told them we booked the 4-15 cruise and asked what they had decided. I guess I will just wait to hear from them............like I said, if they changed their mind and preferred the February sail date, we'd switch in a heartbeat...........I know I don't need to say this, but please don't be mad if we ultimately decide on april...........my kids so connected with Roger and Maria's, and Jay feels like it is their cruise too........Paige would never forgive me if she could not cruise with Gabrielle!!! On thing I'm sure of at this point, though, we are not sailing by ourselves!!! After our first cruise, I can't imagine going on another without some of you! Let's all spread some pixie dust around in the hopes a reunion of some sort is in store for us in 2006!!!
Love you all!

Hi guys, there will never be any bad feelings, how could there be... its disney business. As for me, I just cant justify a house payment to go at a certain time of year. Besides, we are now closer to our date. Maybe Roger and Michelle will change there minds and think of another vacation they can take with that money. As far as we go, we are planning for a adult only long weekend in vegas first of the year. As for Jane and phil, dont think they have presidents week off... lol.. maybe its called prime ministers week.... Eileen will be crushed if she could not see kathrine again so, I guess I have to plan a trip to England. Linda Im going to start callng around tomorrow to find the best deal... Yippee, I need a count down... Nite all... Eileenxxoo

we definitely need to plan something else.........trip to England, Vegas, LA, New York, Vegas, Seattle.......something magical like that to get us all back together......it may not be disney, but we have something special in our bonds and union and we just really need to keep it alive!! So how about it everyone? What do you think??
We don't have much planned for 2005 except a trip to California in June.........wish we all lived closer for sure!
Love,
Michelle

That was the thing. Originally we thought April would be a good time to go - we wanted to go on school vacation week so we didn't have to take the kids out of school. Didn't know that April week was Easter week, though, until I called to book. And then the prices blew me away... So I began to think it really didn't matter what week we went, just really picked April but it could just have easily been February....Wasn't even sure then that you guys were even going to go... But deciding factor really was price. We are going to be undergoing major renovations in our house, already started in fact but will really be a whole house renovation. Also friends are coming along, it will be their first cruise so didn't want to ask them to pay extra $2G just to go in April. So that brings us to now.

I would love to be with all of you again. But I understand that April is already booked for some of you guys and wouldn't expect you to change it. Michelle, I still have visions of how happy Paige and Gabrielle were together, hugging and snuggling...it is one of the memories I'll keep with me of our sailing and one of the stories I use to illustrate to friends and family when I tell them how awesome it was to meet all of you ahead of time on the Dis and in person on board. (I just ignore the raised eyebrows). Eileen, another of my favorite memories is yelling "D'AngelosdoDisney" at the Palo brunch buffet and seeing you and Nick look up so surprised. (If I ever figure out how to use my new computer I'll send you a copy of that shot). Remember how hot (or should I say scorched) we were at our meeting on the Secret Deck 7 Aft? Who's bright idea was that anyway. LOL?

Eileen, let me know if you get a better deal anywhere else besides DCL (so are you actually booked now? - we are on Deck 6). I like keeping my ressies there but if it can save a few hundred $$$ why not. I've just never done it before. Michelle, would you email me a list of the addresses and emails you collected if you have a chance? I'd really appreciate it.

As you know, I originally booked with Disney and then switched to costco and saved almost $700.00 If you don't have a membership, and you have stores around you, you might want to consider joining for $35.00 as the savings are pretty good!
It was quite hot that afternoon on deck 7!! I should have replenished my fluids with water instead of that wine!! LOL
I wonder how warm it will be in February onboard?? Knowing how cold it is here, I just assume it is that way everywhere!! Imagine meeting on deck 7 in snowgear!!
I know you will have a great trip in February!! I'm sad that Nick and Eileen won't be cruising in April, but I am overjoyed that you will have travel companions!! That makes for great adult fun!! Jay and I had mango smoothies yesterday, and I immediately thought of Nick and Eileen! What a great couple!
I don't have your email address for some reason, but email me and I will get those addresses to you!
Take care!

just finished remodeling our house the end of the summer...........what a nightmare!! It is absolutely beautiful and made such a dramatic change but it was an ordeal.......definitely needed a vacation after that! What are you having done??
We had our interior painted (love the living room as it is done in a sage green, taupe and a burgundy), had hardwood floors installed, bought new appliances for the kitchen and put in a new patio ................could not imagine doing anything else.......originally wanted to add on another room and glad I decided against it.........just could not stand having the house in constant chaos...........Can't wait to hear what you are doing!! It is fun to plan and great to see the end result.....it is everything in the middle that is a pain!

About 9 yrs ago we added an inlaw wing (for my mother) - a whole apt and cellar. That wasn't too bad but we had no kids then either. Right now our main bathroom is completely gutted. We cut the walls to eliminate an uneeded/2nd doorway and also cut open the walls to the closet to enlarge the opening. We then added a pocket door to the outside (necessetating ripping open the hall wall - uugghh). Put in a new window. Best part is Paul so far has done all the work himself. Now ready for pros to tile, plaster, etc... it will be nice when it's done. Paul also painted the whole outside this yr so it looks really nice (biege and olive green). As for the rest of the house we need all new windows, doors, front door, redoing hardwoods, complete kitchen renovation and I'd like to add a room off the kitchen too. Oh yes, we'll be opening up the living room ceilings making them and the kitchen into cathedral ceilings (adding beams). Later we'll need to update our family room. Of course all of this is contingent upon my staying in good health :) and Paul will help by doing as much as he can - he's pretty handy and has a good working relationship with our builder. I'm sure I've forgotten something...
