Booked October 30- November 5, 2017. Will it be ok?

We just booked for October 30-November 5, 2017. I wanted to book earlier in October so that we could enjoy the Halloween party and decorations, but due to my daughter's cheerleading schedule and my work schedule that wasn't possible. Will the dates we picked still be ok for parties/decorations/crowds? We've never gone that late in October and I'm kind of nervous that the only party we'll be able to go to will be on Halloween and it will be awful. Also, is that going to be Jersey week? Will it be as bad as I think it's going to be?

I believe that Jersey Week is the week with Veterans Day, which will be after you leave so it should be ok. I have gone close to that time before and found the crowds to be fine but its been a while since I was there that time of year, so hopefully someone with more recent experience during that time will chime in.
