Booked my flights

Well finally I've gotten around to booking our flights for the wedding trip. I was originally flying out with my brother's family on BA on the 30th April but now I am flying out on Virgin PE same day but half an hour earlier than the BA flight. It worked out cheaper for me to do this than pay for the one way back from Orlando.

Paul doesn't fly out until the 10th May - the wedding is the 13th so talk about cutting it a bit fine.

Then we're both flying back on the same flight and we upgraded ourselves to Upper Class to celebrate the end of our honeymoon.

We had wanted to use our MilesplusMoney benefit with the FF scheme but we'd left it too late to use that particular benefit but the good thing is that we get to rack up more miles in the process

I feel somewhat relieved that I've got this sorted out.

It's getting so exciting now - I can't believe that the wedding is not that far away

Glad to hear you are both flying back on the same flight.....that would have been a good start to married life...you on one plane and DH on another.

Wont be long now I bet excited is a bit of an understatement

Well it was a good job I hadn't said anything before now - I think you guys would have sent me into a blind panic

I've also had a complete mare with the Maid of Honor's (Mandy)dress. Basically the shop ordered the wrong dress from the supplier and didn't realise until it arrived at the shop a couple of weeks ago. That wouldn't be the problem except that the dress supplier had decided to discontinue the dress and as it was the shop's error there ain't nothing they can do.

Now it was the colour that was more important to me than the style so they have scoured the country for that colour in that make and have come up with 2 other dresses in the same colour. So Mandy now has 3 dresses to choose from but sadly none of them are the one that we really wanted. We go to the shop on Saturday to try them on and the bestest news is that my dress just came in today. Hopefully it'll fit me otherwise I'm gonna have to go on a diet, which I'm hopeless at even with this kind of motivation. Hopefully it won't come to that. The good thing is that the veil fits

There is mega planning occuring for the wedding I've already made some major changes. We decided to go with a different Officiant .... long story but I think we're sorted now. I keep changing my mind about the floral displays.

'Ohanas has been booked for our Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party we have a few extras for that event giving us a total of 45. We're doing some fun favours for our guests and I'm pretty excited about that and that's just the rehearsal dinner LOL.

I'm still trying to organise our family pre-wedding holiday.

I haven't booked Town Car service yet or sorted out car hire.

We got our Estimated Budget the other day from Disney - everyone pray for that dollar to continue it's loss against the pound

Sadly I'm limited in what I can tell you as some of the guests are regular DISers or Lurkers so I can't take the risk. But I can assure you that you will get a full run down on our return.

Excellent news Sam! I too can't believe you have left it so long to book the flights. At least it's a huge relieft now they are all booked.

Ahhhhh Upper Class - take me back to the peace and luxury of the UC cabin anyday - honestly, you won't want to get off the plane when you land in England! It is superb and worth every hard earned penny!
