Booked my first DLP trip!

I booked my first DLP trip for 2 - 5 November 2006! I can't wait. After looking at all the package prices, I decided to use my Disney Vacation Club points and stay at the Newport Bay hotel. We are very excited!

Now I need to start looking at all the yummy restaurants and make some ADRs.

Great news Tara. Have you decided which restaurants you want to have reservations for ?

First time DLRP, Yep that's really exciting! Great news! I think it's not so important than in WDW to make ADRs before you are really there. Only if you want to be on a safe side and you want to make sure that you can eat at a specific time.

Congratulations! I hope you have a wonderful time! As others have said, I wouldn't worry about making ADRs until you get there, unless there is a specific restaurant you want for your first evening and/or morning.

Thanks for the info on not needing ADRs as much as you do at WDW. The only place I will defiantely make a reservation for is Cafe Mickey's. My son LOVES going to Chef Mickey's when we are at WDW, so I am hoping this will fill that void for him.

I am going to spend the next week searching the boards (and the internet) for info on the restaurants at DLP. I would loke to have an idea of a place or two that may interest us.
