I'm a newbie at this so i didn't know exactly what restaraunt had the best things for kids, etc. However, I made our reservations today

My focus for this trip is all about the kids. Sooooo that means the majority of our TS meals will be Character....which they will be THRILLED with :D

Anywho...here's our meals. They directly correlate with which parks we will be at...so here goes...

Mon
Crystal Palace Character Lunch
Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe( QS Dinner)

Tue
La Cantina De San Angel(QS Lunch)
Chef Mickeys(Dinner)

Wed
Caseys Corner (QS Lunch)
Liberty Tavern dinner

Thur
Pizzafari (QS Lunch)
Tusker house restaraunt dinner

Fri
Playhouse Disney Play and Dine Lunch
Toy Story Pizza Planet dinner

Sat
Boulangerie Patisserie Lunch
Coral Reef Dinner

Sun
Tonys Town Square Lunch
ASMo food court for our QS Dinner before our flight home

Did I select restaraunts with good food? Of course I wouldn't know as we are newbies to Disney. Thanks :thumbsup2

What a beautiful family you have!!!!:) I think you made great choices, the only one I don't particularly care for is Garden Grill....the food wasn't horrible, just mediocre. I know you guys will have a great time.

I love your picture!!! Your ADR's look great! I think your family may enjoy Coral Reef too, if you were to cancel any ADRs. The food is great and being in the same room watching the fish swim around is awesome!!! If I was going to skip one, it would be Garden Grill too.

I hope your family has a great trip!!

You have convinced me enough...Im cancelling Garden Grill LOL

I trust your judgment as you have been there and I have not. Thank you!

Yes, Coral Reef is GREAT. I also love the Princess lunch at the Akershus. I know your girls would just love it and it is an all you can eat (you have to order one main entree at a time, but can order as many as you like).

My boys 14 and 5 love it too (the 14 yr. old for entirely different reasons than the 5 year old.....:sad2: ;) :lmao: )

Also, will there be any penalties for cancelling Garden Grill?

Nope, none at all. The only times there are penalties is if you give a credit card to secure the ressie....and then don't show up (for Cinderella's royal table or Akershus princesses).

There are no penalties for cancelling a reservation except for Cinderella and maybe a signature restaurant. You will be fine cancelling Garden Grill.

P.S. Beautiful family...and enjoy your trip.

LOVE your family photo!

Have a WONDERFUL time mak'n memories! I think your choices are GREAT!!

Nope, there will be no penalties at all! At this point I'm changing and rescheduling my ADRs on a near-daily basis.:rolleyes1 :lmao:
I hope you love Coral Reef!! It was one of our favourite's last time. We sat at a table right next to the tank, and it was just incredible! We also had the best steak of our trip!! :lovestruc

Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite for character dining. The characters really spent time at each table (bring autograph books). Hope you have loads of fun!

I really like your choices also. As others have said, as you have girls, one of the princess meals might be a hit. We did the Akershus breakfast (my girls are 3 and 5 and their cousins 7 and 8) and they loved it. We also did Cinderella's Royal Table lunch but this is hard to get an ADR as you get closer.
We also did the Playhouse Disney lunch which was a huge hit for our family and they really enjoyed Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace(breakfast) as well. The one that suprised me was Cosmic Rays. Not for the food but the kids kept wanting to pop in everytime we walked past to see if Sunny Eclipse was still there. Of course he always is. They still talk about him.

You should LOVE Crystal Palace!!! Its DH and my favourite and we don't even have kids!!! We are going twice in May!! Great food and fab character interaction!

I see you are going there for lunch . . . Not sure if your children are interested in getting up early (!), but I know some people recommend going there for an early breakfast so you can get photo's of Main St before anyone else is admitted to the park- we are going to do that this time! All your ADR's look great!

I've never been to Tony's, but we were comsidering it on our Sept trip, due to it being in MK. The lunch menu did not appeal to me. If it does to you, you're done, but if not, any of the places on the monorail route will work for you. If you are trying to keep it simple on your last day, you could always bring Crystal Palace lunch to the last day and pick Kona, Ohana (if you were doing dinner TS around MK) or something else. Just something to think about, while you are waiting for your trip time to arrive! BTW, the pic is adorable. I definetly agree with PP about switching Garden Grill for Coral Reef. We have enjoyed it the past couple years on the DP, with DD5. The food is delicious, the place feels a bit more fancier than others, but still casual, and it's fun to watch the turtle/fish while you are waiting for your food.

Looks great!! Don't get too caught up in sticking to your counter service plan...go with the flow on those! They are great if you are nearby but don't give up touring time to do counter service on the other side of the park. Also, you may be taking more breaks than you think with all of those kids!!

All your TS seem great (especially now that you're adding Coral Reef). I too love the Akerhaus princess meal, i went there for dinner and really enjoyed it (and this is without kids even!)

I wouldn't recommend Cantina de San Angel though. When I had it was really greasy and with the exception of the beans and the churro (which you can always get seperately) I thought Taco Bell is way better. There are so many great CS choices in Epcot, especially Sunshine Seasons at the land pavallion. And if you're being adventurous the Tangerine Cafe has nice food and a great atmosphere. The best part of Epcot is a lot of the restaurants are close together so you can always try different things.

Also if you're going to eat at Pizzafari and then Pizza Planet the next day, take advantage of Pizzafari's amazing hot sandwiches and avoid the pizza (unless you LOVE LOVE LOVE the fake pizza Disney serves). While I have no issue with one, it seems like two days in a row might seem a little much since it's not that great to begin with. (And Pizza Planet only serves Pizza I think).

Sunshine seasons is one of the best CS and best values IMHO, better than the cantina. They have the best CS desserts too.
