Booked My 1st PS's Today!!! (MK Dining Warning)

I called Disney Dining this afternoon and made my PS's for my birthday meal this October. The girl on the phone was so happy and excited, I'd forgotten how upbeat they all are, I felt a little of that Disney magic travelling down the phone wire!

Anyway, I was intending to book for about 8pm at the Plaza but the latest we could get in was 4.50pm. According to the girl I spoke to, the Plaza is shutting very early that day (Sunday 9th Oct) but she has no idea why. So if you are planning to book a meal in Oct I'd double check opening hours as I have no idea whether this is just the Plaza for one night or if it's something affecting several restaurants for several days.

No we haven't booked our flights yet, it's not close enough to the date to get a good deal Scott is insisting we don't start looking until Sept 1st, I'm gonna start looking in the next fortnight just in case. I just wish he'd get his finances sorted as the way it's going we'll find the perfect deal and miss it cos he's so disorganised!

We booked the PS so it doesn't fill up (can't imagine it would but it's be just my luck), better safe than sorry really. Normally I wouldn't bother but it's important we get in on that night as it's my birthday. We're debating going to MNSSHP one night but Scott says it's too expensive. I might go on my own as I want an excuse to dress up!!

What I have found with the dining in the MK and the MGM studios is that the later hours do not open up until the official hours are posted. Even then the seating times can still be pretty early. I have found that calling 30 days out gets you the later times.
I would say try again once the official hours are posted or wait until you are at the 30 day mark.
