Booked JetBlue out of Newark (EWR) - airport help needed

JetBlue posted fares for Sept/Oct today. Booked roundtrip Sat 10/13-Sun 10/21 from Newark, NJ (EWR) to MCO. Fares were $116 each way per person. Total roundtrip with taxes and fees $231.60. We have never flown JetBlue. We have usually flown Southwest out of Philly or Spirit out of Atlantic City. Newark is our closest airport.

We have 24 hours to cancel. Does this sound like a good price?? I have heard good things about this airline. Southwest has not posted their prices yet.

Haven't flown out of Newark using long term parking for years, but I remember it was VERY expensive and a ROYAL PAIN!! Anyone have any alternatives that have worked for them? We live 45 minutes from airport and have a 6:15am flight. How long would you allow for a Sat. 6:15 am departure allowing for TSA, parking etc?

I've used a valet park & fly service for Newark a couple of times. It's the Avistar location on Haynes. http://www.avistarparking.com/fasttrack/ Good service, good rates. Much more convenient that the garages!

That is a VERY good price! I paid $1400 for three of us to fly Jet Blue from Newark . I think I am green with envy. (oops, it was three people. Keep forgetting my son cancelled).

We live about 30 minutes from Newark. We usually get limo service to and from the airport. Its about the same price as parking for a week and much easier than dealing with the long term lots.

I would definitly use offsite parking. You can usually find coupons on the internet.

We flew out of Newark on JetBlue in 2010 and like them. We had our friends drive us to the airport to save on the hassel and the parking expense.
