Booked Hoop-Dee-Do, when will I get my TIW/DVC discount?

Since Hoop-Dee-Do is basically pre-pay, when will I get my DVC/TIW discount? They hit me for the full amount---unless that is just to 'hold' the ressie until I show up (which I will then give them the DVC/TIW card for discount). Any idea how this works??

Unless things have changed since last year - we had to go to the ticket window with our card and they refunded the discount.

Pre-Paid Reservations and Dinner Shows:

• For any participating Walt Disney World® Resort restaurant where reservations are pre-paid, make sure to request the Tables in Wonderland discount at the time of booking for discount to be applied. A valid Tables in Wonderland card must then be shown at time of ticket pick-up to retain the discount. A refund can also be given at ticket pick-up if the Tables in Wonderland discount was not applied at time of booking. Tables in Wonderland discounts for show times are subject to change without notice.

where do you pick the tix up? guest services at hotel or at window at HDD? its been a long time since we went

You go to the hdd window the day of your event and they will refund back to your cc. This is the same for the luau. I always get there early to do this as it is also the willcall window and where folks go to get on the standby list.

We have gone several times and not all shows get the DVC discount. When we did get it, we ask for it when we purchased the tickets and never had to go to any window to get a refund back. We went last, last Thanksgiving and got it when we purchased the tickets...smjj

it seems to be as I remember it was always the later shows that had discounts and we never went to those

if you didn't mention your TIW to the CM when making your ressie, I just wanted to make sure you didn't book Cat 1. The discount won't apply.

Also, the TiW discount is only available for the late show (8:30 pm). AFAIK, no AP/DVC discounts since the price includes alcohol for adults.
