Booked Half Board Premium and the Restaurants....Call ahead!

So now that we are paid for our trip I booked the Half Board Premium instead of plus as we can use the premium at Inventions and Au Berge de Cendrillion.

We also wanted to eat at Walts and I booked that too however I would definitly call before going as Walt's was closed both Monday and Tuesday which only left us with Wed. for a chioce. I booked for 4pm as I was told that is when the parade is but could've sworn I read the parade starts at 5pm. If so I plan to chew really slowly I don't recall getting out of many sit down restaurants at DLP in under and hour anyways so I hope we'll be good.

Au Berge de Cendrillion was also not open either Tuesday or Wednesday (can't remember which one now) so the only time I could get was for 12noon the day we arrive!!!! This means we have to leave no later than 6am to try and get to the Hotel and see if we can collect our tickets even though we can't check in till 3pm. I believe I had read you can collect your park tickets before you check in- if not we are going to be out the Princess lunch

At least Inventions we had no trouble getting the time or day we wanted.

So now I just have to wait till we leave and in the meantime read everyone else's trip reports when I get the chance to feel like I am already there

You may be in luck with your room being ready. But it will be okay. If your room is not ready your luggage will be left in guest storage at reception and you'll easily get your park tickets.

Thanks for that reassurance. This will only be the 3rd time we will have been alone overnight in 15 years of marriage so I am really hoping for a relaxing time. I know it will be Magical- Disney is always Magical for me. SO excited wish June was already here!

What a wonderful romantic trip you are planning.

When we went to Walt's we had booked for an hour before the parade started and were still on our main course when it went past. So just make sure you have three courses and you will be fine!

Were you out of there in 2 hours at least? I have something special planned as a surprise for hubby and if we aren't out of there in time we might miss it. I can't give away the details since he reads this board but I will defintly put it in a trip report when we get back. We may just have to eat and run before the parade goes by

Yes, we were probably about two hours, but there was 5 of us, and there will only be two of you so you shouldn't have a problem. You can always skip the coffee. Can't wait to find out what the surprise is.
