So I booked my Fastpass+ online. All set up. I'm in Canada so apparently I get the bands when I check in at our hotel.

Ok... so now is there an easy way for me to track what rides I have scheduled on my FastPass+ and when I've got passes for each ride? how does one remember?

Again, being from Canada, I won't have data for my phone so the use of an app that requires an internet connection won't be able to help me...

Do I just write this stuff down or does the magic band itself visually show me what I have booked and when?

Sorry... I've never used one of these high fandangled bands before.

Thanks!

Jay

You'll either need to use download and use the MDE app or write down your selections.

Another option that I have done is to enter the information in your calendar so that reminders pop up on your phone. That way you can review the info and get reminders all without using data plan.

You can use My Disney Experience on your computer and view or print everything out, if you do not want to use (or don't have) a smart phone for the app.

I'm a first timer with the whole magic bands experience at disney as well, however I do know that Disney had free wifi as I had been a couple of times before magic band were released... You could download the My Disney Experience app from the App Store or Google Play, and then use that in the parks with the free wifi they offer.

Hope you have a great trip!

Dan!

Disney has free wifi at the parks. Just turn off your data plan when you go to the airport.

What Kitty said!

I'm from Manitoba! On both trips I purchased a US data pack but you can simply turn off your data and use the free wifi. It's available in ALL parks and at the hotels. We had great wifi both times at Port Orleans. One thing to remember is to either bring your charge cord with you to the parks (using the app does make your phone die a lot faster…looking at it..changing things, etc) or buy a cool little portable charger and just have it in your bag/purse to charge your phone while you continue to enjoy stuff!

You can always go to a FP+ kiosk to view your fp+ selections and make changes.

:yay:

Also, a lesson I have learned......the MDE can occasionally be a bit temperamental. For this reason, I capture a screen shot of each day of our Fastpasses. That way, even if the app isn't working at 100%, I still have the record in my photos on my phone.

The bands will be there waiting for you at check in

Disney has wifi all around the parks & resorts to use the app.

Either write down your fp+'s for the day, or I like to screenshot the page of the app that tells me what times everything is, much easier than having to pull up the app each time

And for the phone, I'd put it on airplane mode the entire time you're there (from canada also) it's super expensive otherwise, even if you don't use data.Airplane mode you can still Imessage, facebook msg & use app's, plus the battery doesn't die as quick :thumbsup2
