Yesterday I got an ADR for breakfast at Chef Mickeys for 8:45. I was on the phone at exactly 7 am eastern (6 am central) 180 days prior to visit which will be on June 17. I wanted my time to be anywhere between 8:30 - 9:00 so I am thrilled about the 8:45 availability.

What I did find to be strange is that I was told that there were only 3 times still available: 8:45, 9:45, and 10:15. I guess a lot of people booked at 180 + 10 days. Since I did not book my room yet, I had to wait until 180 days prior. I am sure glad that I did not wait until later in the day to call even though I was tired all day from having to wake up earlier than I usually do.

I thought that WDW was hurting for business, but apparently not at Chef Mickeys.

Yes, CM is really hard to book! The food is great. Enjoy!!!:goodvibes

We were ate breakfast there in October and it was wonderful for my 3 year old. I don't think that the restaurant is "booked" except for those three time slots. When we were there, we noticed that they tended to seat everyone all together (think three seatings) so that they could efficiently be sure the characters stopped at every table as they "made the rounds" and so that the mini show was viewed by everyone one time. I think the seating times were approx. 1hour 15 min. apart in October.

This is just my observation so I cannot be sure it's factual.

well, CM is also one of only 3 restaurants that can be booked at all past 3/22 so everyone's probably booking it just so they have something reserved.

I booked my June 12th ADR on Wednesday. There were still several spots open for that day. We wanted a later breakfast because we aren't going to the parks that day, so I was glad they offered the 10:30. :)

Wierd, as this is one of the worst buffets for breakfast on property.

Used to be fantastic, but now, basically indedible.

We found CM to be fabulous in August! We really enjoyed the food---there was A LOT to pick from. Enjoy!
